Joe and Amanda exchanged vows on the most beautiful summer day on a farm overlooking acres upon acres of cornfields at The Barn at Trinity Peak. A true Wisconsin wedding, if you will. As the day began to unfold, Ryan and I couldn’t help but feel completely welcomed by family and friends. The day played out with such ease. There was no rushing, no pressure, and it was the most enjoyable day for everyone. Amanda was so calm as she was putting on the final details before she snuck away to meet her groom. Amanda and Joe chose to do a first look and spent a few quiet moments together before the rest of the day swept them away. The ceremony setting was just gorgeous. The two of them stood beneath two magnificent trees, too tall to comprehend. It was the perfect metaphor as the brand new couple were planting their very own roots in front of all their family and friends.

A wedding day is such an exciting time, and every moment is fleeting. While the guests were mingling after dinner, Ryan & I snagged away the happy couple for a few more intimate photographs. Sunset photos are some of our favorite from the day and we love it when a couple is on board and sets aside a few minutes for them!
