Needless to say, I was so happy for Richie when he found Shannon. Like Alyssa and I, they both went to college at UWSP (Go Pointers!). However, they didn’t really start dating until after graduating. They hit it off at homecoming and have been together ever since. Also, fun fact: Richie and Shannon each have a twin! What are the chances of that?!
Alyssa and I were thrilled when we were asked to photograph their wedding day. We spent a Sunday evening with them, taking photos while exploring the area near their home in the Green Bay area. Each of the three locations we visited have special meaning for Richie and Shannon.
We started on a beautiful trail where Richie and Shannon often ride their bikes. A tunnel provided some unique light to capture some stunning photos. We then visited the park where Richie and Shannon will have their reception. As we walked around the park, Richie and Shannon’s chemistry and love for each other really showed. We finished up the session at a baseball diamond where they showed off their Chicago Cubs gear (I know, I know, “yuck!”).
This engagement session was so much more than creating images for Richie and Shannon, it was also about catching up with friends, and we had so much fun! Without further ado, enjoy a sample of what we were able to capture in Richie and Shannon’s engagement session.
