We have had countless conversations with couples over the years, and there are a few topics that seem to come to the surface time and time again. So we decided to put together a little blog post for all of you to reference!!

What is it like working with you?

You know how in elementary school your report card would say “Pleasure to have in class” and “Works well with others”? That’s us! We are people people and adore connecting with other wedding vendors and especially your families. You will not need to worry about how we will work alongside your wedding planner, videographer or event manager. Do you have flower girls and ring bearers? We will play peek-a-boo and do what it takes to get a smile (or at least getting them looking in the right direction!!). Bringing your pup? We love dogs and they will love the belly rubs we give.

When it comes to your wedding day, besides capturing beautiful images for you and your families, our ultimate goal is to make your day as stress-free as possible. We work through the stressful parts of your wedding day BEFORE the big day arrives. (Think family portraits, timelines, family dynamics) Our time together is cherished and we are forever grateful to call this our job.

How would you describe our photography and editing style?

So glad you asked! We always tell our couples that our posing style consists of a beautiful balance of candid moments and guided prompts. Our purpose as your Milwaukee wedding photographers is to capture you and your partner in a way that reflects your personalities and unique relationship and love story.

We have a variety of games and prompts that we use during our sessions and based on the feedback you’re giving us we can lean into the quiet and romantic moments, or lean into the more playful and silly moments.

How many photos are in a wedding gallery, and when will I receive them?

On average an 8 hour wedding day will generate 600-700 final images in your gallery. We shoot roughly 75 photos an hour and so much depends on how many details your wedding includes. We allow 6-8 weeks for a gallery to be delivered, however, it’s not uncommon to receive your online gallery sooner than that!

What if it’s a venue you haven’t shot at before?

After years of weddings and photographing over 75 unique venues, we are able to confidently walk into any space and capture the day as the story should be told. When it’s a venue we have not previously photographed, if we are able to tour with you, we’d love that – and if not, then we make sure to connect with an event/property manager to discuss details with them before your big day arrives!

What are your traveling fees?

We travel from Milwaukee to Madison without any additional travel fees. We do have a travel fee for weddings located more than 60 miles from our home, so please let us know where your venue is so we can give you a custom quote. That being said, traveling is our love language, so if you’re looking to elope or plan a destination wedding, we would LOVE to hear from you too 🙂
