Rachel and Tyler’s Fête wedding was full of spontaneous pockets of joy all day long. Enter the most laidback bride and groom with the very best humor. Wedding days can be bursting with high stress and big emotions, but I kid you not, these two were constantly making sure that everyone around them was happy and taken care of! Always joking that it was “their day” when referring to anyone but themselves! Their humor kept us laughing all day long. Rachel was the happiest bride, literally beaming with joy and laughing wholeheartedly.

I think one of our favorite memories from their wedding day was when Rachel walked down the aisle to Tyler. As soon as Rachel and her dad met Tyler, a tractor pulling a farm trailer of passersby cheered for them. The timing was impeccable and reactions from both the bride and groom as well as their guests was simply incredible to witness. Another standout moment from their big day was the grand entrance. Rachel and Tyler surprised their wedding party with a brief roast for each of them as the DJ announced them to the reception. It was hilarious, unique and had the crowd laughing.

Rachel and Tyler’s wedding day was beautiful and photographing at Fête was a dream per usual. Rachel’s florals were gorgeous (hello peonies). Her dress had pockets (IYKYK)! Every detail was perfectly them, and we loved documenting all of it. We totally lucked out with a perfect summer day, which turned into a dreamy golden hour sunset for these two newlyweds. A quick 15 minutes during sunset is not always a possibility, but when it is and the weather cooperates, my goodness do we get to create some magical, warm, happy, romantic and fun photos for our couples. The dance floor was packed all night and friends, I am telling you, their DJ was amazing.

Such a perfect day. Thank you Rachel and Tyler for trusting us with one of the most important days of your lives. We are forever thankful for your love and kindness. We are SO excited to share their day with you!!!
