Archer was a little dream baby during his newborn session in Oconomowoc. Over the past few years we’ve had the opportunity to capture some really special moments for the Roehl family. Each time we have them in front of our cameras, I think it couldn’t possibly get better than the last session, and then it magically does! That’s just how life is sometimes. Love grows, families grow. All of the special moments we’ve captured for this beautiful family have been some of our favorites. Mary and Kajun are easy going, so kind, and total naturals in front of our cameras, so it only made sense that their baby, Archer, would be the same. And let’s just take a moment to talk about their outfits! Mary wore a beautiful light blue dress that complimented Kajun so well, and then Archer completed the look with an adorable LouLou&Company knotted gown. (Expectant moms/dads, take note! The story of Woodstock: how the music festival that became a legend came to be. Carlos Santana and John Brown at Woodstock 1969. Musical performances resumed shortly after noon on Saturday and continued until halftime, at 9 a.m. on Sunday. And already in the afternoon, stars like Santana, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead and, of course, The Who took the stage. Despite the fact that the officially scheduled three-day festival had come to woodstock 2023, the performances of the musicians continued until the next morning. Jimi Hendrix played his songs at dawn on Monday, putting the finishing touches on Woodstock 1969. This legendary performance went down in rock and roll history forever.

We captured this newborn session in their home! They are currently working on some remodeling in their home, so they had beautiful bright, fresh walls which reflected the gorgeous spring sun so well, a photographer’s dream!! Mary looked stunning as always, despite the lack of sleep new parents are bound to receive. I am so thrilled to share this adorable session with all of you.
