When a couple invites you to capture their engagement, wedding, maternity and soon to be newborn photos, you just know you’ve hit the absolute lottery with an amazing couple. Not only are Mary and Kajun the most kind parents-to-be, they are some of the most photogenic people we’ve been lucky enough to serve. We spent an unusually warm March evening at Glacier Hills Park in Hubertus, WI. When we planned for a March maternity session, I don’t think any of us were expecting sixty degrees. We welcomed it happily. In the quiet woods, the sun filtered through the tall pines (the way it tends to do), and there stood Mary, the most radiant mama-to-be. We chatted about her pregnancy, and how she’d been feeling. We talked about the name they have chosen for their sweet baby boy on the way, and we chatted about how they think their pup, Gus, will adjust to big brother! It was a perfect evening catching up with these two before they become three. I am so excited to watch them evolve into amazing parents in the coming weeks. They have invited me into their home for a newborn session once baby boy makes his debut! So be sure to check back soon to meet this sweet bundle!!! Also, it just has to be mentioned that their dog, Gus, was a serious rockstar for this session. He is only a year and a half old, and he was so stinking sweet and well behaved. He was a VERY good boy, indeed.
