Nothing says February in lake country like a Winter Engagement Session at Retzer Nature Center! We spent Valentine’s Day with this gorgeous couple, Lauren and Harrison, and their adorable pup, Sadie. Their session started at Lapham Peak in Delafield where Sadie could join us and romp around to her heart’s content. Lauren and Harrison have this cool, calm, and class that radiate from within, and we knew their session would be an absolute dream to capture. The winds were chilly to say the least, but that sun brought so much warmth to these images and WOW did we fall in love again with snow covered wintery sessions!! Our second location was Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha, and it’s always a favorite of ours to shoot there. Each season and session brings a new perspective of the park and we love that! The tall pine trees blocked some of the cool winds and filtered that beautiful winter sun. We are beyond excited to share this winter engagement session at Retzer Nature Center with you all! We cannot wait for Lauren and Harrison’s wedding at Discovery World this September.
Fun Fact: We first took a photo of Lauren and Harrison at Lauren’s sister’s wedding almost 4.5 years ago!! We still cannot believe how quickly the time has passed! Engagement sessions are always such a blast for us, and if their session is any indication of how wonderful Lauren and Harrison’s wedding will be, we know it will be an absolutely incredible day!
