Frank and Brianna flew to Wisconsin from New Jersey last weekend to check a bunch of wedding planning boxes off of their to do list, and we were lucky enough to spend a late afternoon with them. We wandered amongst the pine trees at Glacier Hills Park in Hubertus, WI. This was our first time exploring this beautiful little park, and we know it won’t be our last! Although the weather was anything but pleasant, the sun did manage to provide some golden light for these two cuties, and we took full advantage. For Brianna and Frank’s session we did as many snuggled up poses as possible so these two could stay warm, but it was so obvious how much love these two have for one another, and how natural that cuddling was for them. We caught Frank sneaking kisses to Brianna any time we suggested they snuggle up. We quickly learned to have our cameras ready to shoot without any prompting at all, because these two were total naturals.

Halfway through the session, Brianna and Frank hopped into their car for an outfit change (and to warm up!). Ryan and I focused on grabbing a couple shots of Brianna’s engagement ring. We set up a fallen pine tree branch on the side of the parking lot and it was magic!! After that, Frank and Brianna wrapped each other up in a cozy blanket and we snuck back into the sun drenched woods. The session wrapped up with the two of them sipping hot cocoa from a thermos. Those mugs of hot chocolate helped to warm their chilly hands. It was perfection.

Capturing love like that – natural, unprompted, sweet and tender is one of a kind, and we adore that. I could see how well Frank loves on Brianna, and it fills our hearts right up. It’s one thing to see it and it’s another to feel it, and we left their session feeling all sorts of butterflies, knowing we will get to do this all over again for their wedding at Discovery World this summer.
