Sophie and Adam’s wedding took place on arguably the most beautiful summer day in August. The entire day felt relaxed and so joyful. In the months leading up to their wedding Sophie constantly shared how excited she was and how she couldn’t wait to marry Adam. Sophie has been battling Lyme disease for years and her one wish was to feel good on her wedding day. I prayed leading up to her wedding that she be able to fully enjoy her big day pain free. Their wedding day was perfect. She smiled bigger and laughed harder and it was so evident how full of joy she truly was. In lieu of clinking glasses, these two graciously accepted donations to find a cure for lymes disease and the guests joined in on the cause and raised over $600! It was incredible to witness the love and support Adam and Sophie had surrounding them. The sun was warm and as the evening approached, there was a beautiful crispness to the air. As they slow danced in the barn Ryan and I couldn’t help but smile. It was a truly incredible day and we were so grateful to have witnessed such a pure love that Sophie and Adam share. Adam created a lot of the reception decor and even brought Sophie’s vision with the mantle for their ceremony to life. When I asked Sophie to share about why she is so excited to marry Adam, here is what she said:
“We are passionate about the same things and just genuinely enjoy being together. Adam never fails to make me laugh and take care of me through my health issues. We really are a team and life is just better together!”
