Alyssa and Dylan planned for a sweet ceremony in a courtyard, but instead were blessed with good luck in the form of rain drops. I have never seen a bride and groom so willing to walk through puddles, brave the cold, or stand in the pouring rain. These two were a true blessing to work with from day one. We knew that the day would be absolutely perfect, despite the weather, because it was clear that their wedding day was so much more than that. Dylan, Alyssa and Saige became a family of 3, officially, and it was one of the most heartfelt weddings we have witnessed to date.

There were three very prominent moments that stuck out to us through out the day. The moment Alyssa’s dad saw her for the first time. His little girl, the most stunning bride, about to commit her life to Dylan and his daughter. It was so evident how special their relationship is, and I was honored to witness the abundance of love. The second moment that is still so vivid in our memory, was the exchanging of the vows. It was such a powerful moment for the Alyssa and Dylan, and I was a teary-eyed mess as I watched Saige hold back the happiest of tears. The third moment was when Alyssa and Dylan looked at me and said they were willing to do anything to get the shot. I’m going to be honest, I’m not sure I would have been so high-spirited on my wedding day, but these two were not going to let anything bring them down. Even on the stormiest days, Alyssa and Dylan prove to be a constant light to one another.
