Ryan and Cici first met on the UW-Whitewater campus. She was a gymnast and he was a wrestling coach. They seemed to run into each other pretty frequently since their sports had neighboring gyms. Cici had been crushing on Ryan for a while, but it wasn’t until Ryan had finished his coaching career there that they decided to go on their first date. They went to Kenosha where they drank long islands while getting to know each other a little better. Fast forward three years, and Ryan led Cici to that same restaurant, ordering long islands again, but this time, the night was going to end a little differently. The two of them (long islands in hand) walked down to the pier where they had walked on their very first date. Cici thought she had seen her friend Lisa in the distance, but Ryan assured her that it wasn’t her. When Ryan got down on one knee, she was in complete shock. Once the reality of it sank in, she looked back over at the girl in the distance and there was Lisa, snapping photos of the whole thing!

All four of us met in Delafield and ended the session in Oconomowoc where they now live. The evening was perfect and these two were as sweet as can be. From the canopying trees, to the stillness on the water, mother nature was working some magic and the images are just so them! When a couple puts this much thought into their session, we know they are the real deal. Every outfit, every look, every prop was so carefully selected, and it was one of our most fun sessions to date. We are elated that we will be celebrating their wedding day with them, capturing the most exciting day of their lives. Congratulations Ryan & Cici!
