Nick and Maria were married on a chilly fall day in October. When we were photographing their wedding we could feel such a calmness between the two of them. Wedding days are filled with so many emotions and when a couple can keep each other comforted without feeling all the distractions that a wedding day brings, you know their marriage is going to stand the test of time.
Our favorite moment on any given wedding day is spending quality time with the bride and groom for their portraits. It’s a time to encourage some deep breaths and to just soak it all up. For Maria and Nick’s portraits, we nestled into the apple trees on Maria’s family farm. It was an absolute dreamy background, and they were just so sweet. We even managed a few photos with their puppy who was completely JAZZED to be included.
When asking the two of them what they were most looking forward to as a married couple, they said that they’re excited for the days when the day is open and they can just be with each other, and we absolutely love that.
We are so thrilled for their new journey into marriage, and cannot thank Maria and Nick enough for being so kind and sweet, and for inviting us into their fleeting wedding day to capture their love. We are forever grateful. Congratulations to Mr+Mrs Longfield!!
