Let me preface this blog with a little background on this joyful human. I first met Emma when she was just an infant. (Our moms taught phy-ed together.) I remember this little babe on the bleachers in the gym and playing with her as if she was my doll. I loved holding her and playing with her as we watched her mom coach basketball. When she was a little bit older, I would babysit her once  week while her mom coached basketball practice. There was something about her that just brightened your day, and her personality has only blossomed since then. I can still picture this curly blonde haired, blue eyed little girl riding on the basketball cart before high school basketball games.

Over the last year I have just loved reconnecting with Emma, and it was so special for me to photograph such an exciting time in her life. Emma, your smile is contagious, and your presence is so light-hearted. Keep on being the beautiful girl you are! I’m so excited to see where your life takes you!
